A1 DENTAL BARTON · REFERRALS

Refer to A1.
A clear next step.

For dentists and doctors referring patients from across Canberra, the ACT and surrounding NSW for IV sedation assessment, and for patients recommending our Barton practice for local general dental care.

FOR DENTISTS & DOCTORS

Refer a patient
for care.

Dental care and IV sedation assessment

Contact our team to discuss a referral for dental care or treatment under IV sedation. We will confirm the next step and the appropriate way to provide the referral and relevant clinical records.

01

Start with our team

Tell us you are a referring dentist or doctor and give us your practice contact details.

02

Confirm the handoff

Our team will confirm which documents are needed and how they should be sent, with the patient’s consent.

03

Arrange assessment

A referral starts the assessment process. The proposed treatment and suitability for sedation require clinical review before arrangements are finalised.

Please call to confirm the appropriate channel before sending patient records or radiographs. The email link above is for a process enquiry, not clinical document submission.
